City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal on Monday inaugurated Mansoora Cricket Ground in Gulberg Town. The ground has been constructed in union council-7 with a cost of Rs10million. Town Nazim Gulberg Muhammed Kamal Malik Masood Naqi and others were also present on this occasion.

Talking to media representatives on this occasion City Nazim said that the ground will be completed in three phases as a full-fledged stadium in Gulberg Town. The second phase will involve the installation of flood lights with an estimated cost of Rs25million while the pavilion will be built in the next phase.

He said that city government has so far constructed 16 cricket grounds in Karachi with cricket academies established in each town. Now the city was ready to hold national level events at these grounds. He further said that these stadiums were handed over to former test cricketers for proper utilizations of training facilities to youth.
